Equipment damage

  1. The UNF management is informed, at all times, of any equipment that must be in the scanner room, whether ferromagnetic or not.

  2. Except in exceptional cases, any equipment to be brought into the scanner room must be checked by a trained UNF staff member.

  3. In addition to the participant in a study, the number of people allowed in the MRI room is limited to two. When a need is demonstrated, UNF staff may authorize the presence of more than two people.

  4. At least one person must be present at all times when the participant is in the MRI room.

  5. Failure to comply with the rules and instructions listed above could result in damage to UNF equipment as well as to people present in the room. The principal investigator of the study will be held responsible for any breakage and replacement costs of the damaged material.

  6. These rules also apply to the simulation room and all accessories.
